Anthony Fontana  
Head of Acting Studio, Acting Instructor

Anthony is a graduate of the University of California Irvine’s, Claire Trevor School of the Arts, where he studied Musical Theatre in addition to serving as Accompanist and Musical Director for various Musical Theatre Classes and Productions. After UC Irvine, he continued his acting training in Los Angeles at LA’s Premier Meisner Studio, The Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Studio. He is a Proud Member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and the Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG-AFTRA).

Anthony has trained with some of the Industry’s Top Vocal Coaches and has maintained a Private Studio of his own, specializing in Professional and Personalized Instruction, for over almost a Decade. He was recently Ranked One of the Top 5 Vocal Coaches in Los Angeles and Orange County by BACKSTAGE Magazine and has had clients that have included High School Students, College Students, and Industry Professionals ranging from working Actors to Recording Artists.

As a Professional Actor, Anthony has performed in over 25 Regional Theatrical Productions including the Original Cast of an Off Broadway Musical: Popesical. Highlights include: A Catbaret (w/Fred Willard), Sweet Smell of Success (w/Anthony Geary), Rent, The Last Five Years, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Pirates of Penzance, Titanic, I Love You Because, among many others. He has also appeared in various Independent Films and Mini Series as an Actor, Producer, and Director.

He is the Executive Producer and Co-Founder of Limited Edition Productions, an Orange County and Los Angeles based Production Company specializing in Independent Films, Mini Series, and Musical Theatre Works.

Aside from Acting and Teaching, Anthony has been a Talent Agency and Casting Assistant in Los Angeles. He is beyond grateful and excited to bring his knowledge of the Entertainment Industry and put it to use at Orange County’s Premier Acting, Music, and Recording Studio, The Music Hall!

Michelle Hernandez  
Acting Instructor

A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and CAP21, Michelle has been teaching voice, performance, and acting for the past 4 years. She emphasizes technique AND performance as partners working hand in hand to create truthful story-telling. Her private students have exceeded goals, booked roles, nailed auditions, and gained huge confidence in their performing and their daily lives. How? Technique technique technique! When armed with the tools, you can be unstoppable.

As a working performer herself, Michelle has been performing internationally for the past several years to rave reviews and packed houses. She currently fronts a high energy, top 40 party/pop rock cover band (“Retro Soul”) providing lead vocals and vocal direction. Michelle acts as manager/promoter for performing artists and talent for various events and venues through her company Raise Your Glass Entertainment.

Melanie Lauren Pyle  
Acting Instructor

Melanie is an Actress and Singer who graduated from UC Irvine’s Claire Trevor School of the Arts. At UC Irvine she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Drama with an Emphasis in Musical Theatre. She has appeared in the Off Broadway Production, Bemidji, and in various Regional Productions throughout California with Highlights including: Into the Woods, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Les Miserables, among others.

As an instructor, Melanie has taught Kids and Teens throughout Northern California and has worked for the Walt Disney Company and resembles everyone’s favorite Princesses with Party Karacters.

Amanda Minano  
Acting Instructor

Amanda Minano is an Actress and Singer who received a BFA in Musical Theatre from UC Irvine’s Claire Trevor School of the Arts. From performing at The Vatican to the Oldest Amusement Park in the World, Amanda has covered some exciting terrain over her many years of performing with her personal favorite being a remounted production of Starmites at Lied Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. Other credits include the McCoy Rigby Ovation! Nominated Production of Les Miserables, which received a StageSceneLA Scenie Award for Best Musical Production of the Year; Romeo and Juliet, for which Amanda received an Inland Theatre League Award; the World Premiere Production and Cast Recording of Tinseltown Christmas; Songs for a New World; Spring Awakening; and the Academy of New Musical Theatre’s reading of Manson’s Girls, which was featured on ABC7 News.

In 2010, Amanda was the Highest Ranking Female Vocalist at the California State Thespian Festival, receiving third place in the Solo Musical Theatre Individual Event. She then went on to audition at the International Thespian Festival in the same category and was One of Four to receive a Superior Ranking, placing her in the Top One Percent of Performers in Solo Musical Theatre. Amanda has been named Claremont Idol, a New Harmonaires Scholar, and has been privileged enough to sing the National Anthem at Quakes’ Stadium.

Amanda is an Actor’s Equity Association Membership Candidate and will be making her Off Broadway Debut in an Original Musical in 2015 She is thrilled to bring her love of Acting and Musical Theatre to Orange County’s Premiere Acting and Music Studio, The Music Hall!
